One of the greatest football players of all time, Diego Armando Maradona, is in critical condition as he suffered a heart attack and is experiencing breathing difficulties.
The legendary 43-year-old player watched a match of "Boca Juniors" on Sunday and was then taken to a hospital in Buenos Aires and admitted to the intensive care unit. He is currently on a ventilator.
The former player of the Argentine national team has had a history of drug abuse and has been suspended from football twice in the past. Four years ago, Maradona was hospitalized due to a high dose of cocaine. In the last two years, he has been in Cuba, seeking treatment for drug addiction.
Maradona's personal doctor, Alfredo Cahe, did not comment on reports alleging that the football star had overdosed again.
