The president of crisis-stricken Real Madrid, Florentino Perez, announced that "Real" is ready to buy a forward during the winter transfer window if it turns out that the team captain, Spanish player Raul, will be out for longer than two months.
"We still don't know how long Raul will be unable to play, but if he's out for longer than two months, we will definitely acquire a forward," Perez said.
Raul suffered an injury during a match against "Barcelona" on November 19, which the Royal club lost 3-0. The club's medical staff say that next week it should become clear whether the Spanish national team forward will need knee surgery. If surgery is necessary, Raul could be out of the game for up to six months.
