Harry Redknapp has left his position as head coach of the team, just fueling speculation about a possible return to one of the fiercest rivals, "Southampton".
The English media has been claiming for some time now that the 58-year-old H. Redknapp should return to his former club, "Portsmouth", due to disagreements with the club president, Milan Mandaric.
Having only secured 2 victories in 14 matches in the current season of the "Premier League", "Portsmouth" dismissed Frenchman Alain Perrin from his position as head coach last week and currently sits in 18th place in the league standings.
In the second tier of English football, known as the "Championship", "Southampton" currently occupies 12th place out of 24 teams in the league.
