On Tuesday, the postponed fifteenth round of the Bundesliga matches between the clubs "Duisburg" and "Koln" took place. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, both teams shared a point and slightly improved their difficult position in the standings - the "Koln" team moved up from sixteenth place, while "Duisburg" remained in seventeenth place, but at least slightly distanced themselves from "Kaiserslautern" and thus avoided the title of absolute league outsiders.

In a nerve-wracking match, where eight yellow and one red card were shown, the hosts "Duisburg" took the lead first, after A. Ahanfoufas opened the scoring for his team in the 5th minute of the match. The visitors did not give up and after about 30 minutes, the result was equalized by Germany's national team striker L. Podolski. By the way, in the next round of the league, "Koln" will have to do without their young striker, as L. Podolski will have to miss one match due to yellow card accumulation.

At the end of the match, the nerves of "Koln" player A. Streit finally gave out - the footballer got into a conflict with the opposing team's coach N. Meier and was sent off the field for it. N. Meier also did not go unpunished - the coach was ejected from the team's bench.

By the way, another postponed match between the clubs "Kaiserslautern" and "Eintracht" will be played on December 14th.
