Today, the Club World Cup started in Japan. In the opening match, "Al Ittihad" from Saudi Arabia celebrated victory by a minimal result, defeating Egypt's representative "Al Ahly" 1-0.
In the first quarter-final match, the only goal was scored by "Al Ittihad" captain Mohamed Nooras, in the 78th minute. This victory, breaking the Egyptians' 55-match unbeaten streak, allowed the Arabs to advance to the semi-finals, where they will face South American champions "Sao Paulo".
