In the other match, "Werder" crushed "Koln" 4-1 away and once again confirmed the title of the most productive team in the tournament. After I.Szabics' goal in the 24th minute, "Koln" took the lead, but soon "Werder" woke up and scored four goals without response for the rest of the game. The league's top scorer M.Klose returned after injury and continued to perform superbly, scoring two goals. After this victory, the Bremen team remains in third place in the league, trailing the leading "Bayern" by six points.
