T.Radzinevičius: "My new club - European level" © EuroFootball.com

24-year-old forward, who signed a contract with the Czech Republic's top team Liberec in November, participated in the closing ceremony of the NFKA "A lyga" season. The former Marijampolė "Sūduva" footballer was awarded a bronze medal, which he won together with the "Sūduva" team. The player also agreed to answer questions from the official "A lyga" website.

- What impression did the new club leave on you?

- Very good. Both the team and the entire club structure are of a European level.

- How did the "Slovan" players welcome you, are they friendly?

- All the players greeted me in a friendly manner, no one ignores me. The new team friends are trying to help me understand things faster. They gladly explain what I don't understand, they do not hesitate to give advice.

- A few years ago, the goalkeeper Vadimas Petrenka played in Czech Republic for "Kaunas". He represented the Olomouc "Sigma" team. The footballer missed warmer relationships in Czech Republic, he was surprised by the unhealthy competition among players. "They are not friendly, even when in a good position rarely receive the ball," V.Petrenka said. Is there anything similar in the "Slovan" team?

- Definitely not. No one ignores me, everything is fine. The team friends immediately recognized me as their own player.

- Did you start training quickly after arriving in Czech Republic?

- Representatives of the club initially observed me. Czechs liked everything, they were convinced of my abilities. Then we sat down, discussed the conditions of the contract and I immediately started training.

- Did you sign a long-term contract with "Slovan" club?

- Yes, I signed a 3.5 year contract.

- Do you think the coach will let you play, won't keep you on the bench?

- I can't answer that question, because everything is decided by the coach. If the coach likes my game, he will let me play. If I don't earn the coach's trust, I will have to sit on the bench.

- Did you feel a big difference between the training of "Sūduva" and "Slovan"?

- There is some difference, the level of Liberec team is higher. However, I wouldn't say that the difference is huge, as football has progressed in all countries. Of course, Czech football is stronger than Lithuanian, I still have room to improve.
