After eight winless matches, changes were made on Monday - the German club fired head coach Holger Fach and the club's general manager Thomas Strunz.
H. Fach took over the wheel at "Wolfsburg" at the beginning of this season, replacing Eric Gerets, while former German national team defender T. Strunz took over the general manager position in January of this year.
After a decent start to the season, "Wolfsburg" currently sits 13th in the middle of the table, having collected 18 points from 17 matches.
The club management made changes after a 3-2 defeat to "Kaiserslautern" on Saturday. Dutch defender Kevin Hofland described the team's performance in that match as "shameful."
H. Fach became the eighth "Bundesliga" coach to lose his job this year.
