Valon Behrami, Roma's defender, will not play for at least a month. This was revealed after the weekend match with the leader of the Serie A championship, which ended in a 1-1 draw with the team from the Italian capital.
The 20-year-old Swiss, who had started the season excellently and quickly established himself in the starting lineup, was forced to leave the field at the end of the first half following a rough tackle by Juventus defender Fabio Cannavaro. After the match, tests showed that the Roma player had injured his right knee ligaments.
Because of this injury, Behrami will miss the matches of "Lazio" in the Italian championship against "Lecce", "Ascoli", "Parma", and "Messina". As announced earlier, the match against "Lecce" will also be missed by Lazio's veteran striker Paolo Di Canio due to suspension.
Currently, "Lazio" is in 8th place in Serie A with 23 points from 16 matches and is already 20 points behind the leading Juventus team.
