Club leaders will fulfill the promises given to the fans at the beginning of the new year by strengthening the team with a few capable players. The first purchase in the near future should be defender Jan Kromkamp.

The leaders of the strongest European club of the past season have already reached an agreement with the "Yellow Submarines" regarding Kromkamp's transfer. Instead of him, another defender, Josemi, who lost his place in the main lineup of Liverpool, will arrive in Spain.

"Villarreal" has reached an agreement with "Liverpool" regarding the transfer of defender Jan Kromkamp to the English team and the arrival of another defender, Josemi, to us," - states the club's statement. However, it is not mentioned whether any of the teams will have to pay a monetary compensation.

In the near future, both players will have to finalize personal contract details and the transfer will officially take place.

Josemi arrived in "Liverpool" in the summer of 2004 from a team for 2 million pounds. Despite this, the first purchase of coach Rafael Benitez was plagued by injuries, preventing the Spaniard from establishing himself in the main lineup.

Kromkamp arrived in "Villarreal" in the summer of 2004 from his home country's team. The player, who has represented the Dutch national team eight times, also failed to find a place in Spain and wore the yellow club's jersey in just six matches this season.
