French journalist, who became a symbol of London, announced to journalists that he decided to stay in the capital club.
T. Henry, who was recently elected the best French footballer of the year for the fourth time, could have left the club in the summer of 2007, so there were rumors about the striker's move to the Spanish champions Barcelona.
"The truth is that I love this club and I have decided to stay," Henry told The Sun. "I can tell the fans and the people who care that I want to lead the team and play in the new stadium."
Arsenal will leave the current Highbury stadium at the end of this season and move to the modern and expensive Emirates stadium.
"I will talk to Arsene Wenger (manager), David Dein (vice-president) and the club board and discuss my future," the Frenchman continued. "I want to stay and we need to sort everything out."
T. Henry joined Arsenal in August 1999 from Juventus in Turin and recently surpassed Gunners legend Ian Wright's record of 185 goals.
"There were a lot of nonsense rumors," Henry said. "The truth is that I have never spoken to or met with any representative from any other club."
