Today, the Vilnius club "Vėtra" began preparations for the upcoming season. The training of the capital's footballers at the Vilnius "Sportimos" arena was led by the new coaching staff - head coach Edgaras Gessas and goalkeeper coach Aleksejus Prudnikovas.
These are well-known specialists in the world of football. E. Gessas, in the past, was a famous player for Moscow's "Spartak" and last season coached Vladikavkaz's "Alanija" club. A. Prudnikovas worked as a coach at Moscow's "Spartak" club, and his greatest achievement in his career as an athlete is the title of champion at the Seoul Olympic Games.

More new players from foreign countries are expected to join the team in mid-February during a training camp in Turkey.
