In the Italian Cup tournament on Thursday, the last second leg matches of the quarterfinals were played. As expected, Rome's "Lazio" and Milan's "Inter" clubs reached the quarterfinals, but the second leg matches were not easy for them, ending in a goalless draw.

"Lazio" took a two-goal advantage from the first leg matches in Rome to the away match at the third tier "Cittadella" stadium, so the capital's team played with a not so strong lineup - even the 17-year-old Italy youth national team goalkeeper Lorenzo De Silvestri made his debut.
Although "Cittadella" did not give up hopes of reaching the next stage and had several chances to score, the veteran Marco Ballota reliably guarded the visitors' goal. The match ended in a draw, and "Lazio" achieved their goal, awaiting their next opponent.
