As reported by the official website of Marijampolė's "Sūduva," two foreigners are participating in the Suvalkija club's review: 27-year-old goalkeeper Matej Brabec from the Czech Republic and 31-year-old defender Milan Mičenec from Slovakia.
M.Mičenec, who celebrated his 31st birthday last week, has played 15 matches this season for "AS Trenčin," which currently holds the sixth place in the Slovak championship. In the seasons 2003-2004 and 2004-2005, M.Mičenec was a key player in the lineup of "AS Trenčin."
Previously, the Slovak has played for "MŠK Žilina," "SCP Ružomberok," "FC Rimavská Sobota," Prievidza's "Baník," Trenčín's "OŽETA Dukla," and Trenčín's "Laugarício."
Meanwhile, on Saturday evening in friendly matches in Vilnius, they crushed Alytaus "Alytis" football players who refused to participate in the "A Lyga" league by 3-0. The goals for Marijampolė were scored by Darius Maciulevičius, Mantas Uselis, and Povilas Leimonas.
