Leverkusen defender Lucio has confirmed that he will leave his club at the end of the season.
The Brazilian spent three and a half seasons at Leverkusen and now wants to join one of Europe's top clubs. In an interview with "Kicker" magazine, he said: "I want to take the next step in my career, and therefore I need to leave Bayer."
This season, the 25-year-old Brazilian national team player has been heavily linked with powerful clubs. At the start of the season, Lucio almost moved to , but did not agree with the club's contract terms.
Now Lucio has many options, and he just wants to play for any top club: "A big club with a big reputation would be best for me. , , , , - all of them would suit me and I would feel at home there. Lucio has not ruled out the possibility of staying in Germany:
