Today there will be two matches in the UEFA Cup. Here is their preview:

Sir Bobby Robson remains focused on the home game against Marseille, however, today we will not see Craig Bellamy, Kieron Dyer, and Jermaine Jenas in the Newcastle team. Robson's team is not at full strength, but they should not be written off.

He said: "Although we don't have a few key players, we will try everything not to lose. I don't know yet if any of the injured players will be able to play, so I can't say the exact lineup yet."

The situation in the Marseille team is better, there are not so many injured key players, but they do not have the pressure of playing away.

While the whole of Spain is preparing for the derby between Real Madrid and Barcelona this weekend, Villarreal and Valencia are getting ready for their own battle.

This is only the fifth season that Villarreal has played in the Spanish league and their first attempt in Europe, however, the head coach says that the veterans have done well by defeating clubs like Roma, Galatasaray, Moscow's Torpedo, and Celtic in the UEFA Cup matches.

He said: "We are making history, we know what it means to the club, but we don't put pressure on ourselves."

Paquito will be forced to make at least one change. Javi Venta will replace the suspended Rodolfo Arruabarrena.

Valencia, however, is not ready to give up. They have already won three consecutive matches and will try to extend this streak.
