In the second round matches of Group A and the entire Africa Cup of Nations tournament, Ivorian footballers managed to secure a narrow victory against Morocco thanks to a successful 11-meter goal scored by the star of London's Chelsea, Didier Drogba.

Despite territorial and gameplay dominance, Moroccan footballers had to admit the advantage of the Ivory Coast national team, although replays by TV broadcast directors showed that the foul against Didier Drogba, for which a decisive penalty kick was awarded, was committed outside the penalty area.
In these matches, the Ivory Coast team did not have Lens striker Aruna Dindane, who went to bury one of his twin daughters.
Today, two matches of Group B are still being played: Cameroon will play against Angola, and the Togo team will compete against DR Congo footballers. The latter match will be broadcasted live on the EuroSport sports channel at 20:00.
