In the only Scottish Championship match on Sunday, league leader Glasgow Celtic won their fourth consecutive victory on the road by beating Motherwell 3-1 and increasing their lead over second-placed Edinburgh Hearts to 10 points.

In the 16th minute, after a pass from Stilian Petrov, Celtic's striker Maciej Zurawski scored to give the visitors the lead. However, five minutes before the end of the first half, the home team's player Jim Hamilton equalized the score with a great shot into the top corner of the goal.
In the second half, the game was evenly played and both teams found it difficult to get close to the opponent's goal. However, Motherwell's defense was finally breached after a substitution, with Aiden McGeady scoring in the 70th minute with a deflected shot.
The same A. McGeady was active in Celtic's attacks and six minutes before the end, John Hartson sealed the victory for the visitors after a pass from him. Celtic once again triumphed and solidified their first-place position as the Scottish Championship season entered its second half.
