On the third day of the Africa Cup of Nations, Group C matches took place: Tunisia, defending champions, bounced back after conceding an early goal and crushed the Zambian national team, while South Africa had to admit Guinea's superiority as the match approached its end.

The African champions, Tunisian footballers, were trailing behind in the 9th minute of the match against Zambia when James Chamanga took advantage of a goalkeeper and defender error to score a goal, but about half an hour later, Santos, born in Brazil but playing for Tunisia, equalized with a header.

At the beginning of the second half, Tunisia took the lead with another header by Riadh Bouazizi, Santos scored his second goal in the 83rd minute to seal the victory, and in the last minute, the Tunisian attacking leader scored once again to complete his hat-trick.

The next match was much more intense - the young and inexperienced South African team struggled against Guinea, but the West Africans only managed to defeat their opponents as the match drew to a close when Sambegou Bangoura, who entered the field after a substitution, scored a header to give his team the lead, and soon after his namesake Ousmane Bangoura doubled the lead.

On Monday, the Africa Cup of Nations will also feature the most interesting group, known as the "group of death". In the first matches, Nigeria will play against Ghana, while Senegal will face Zimbabwe in the second match.
