As reported by Istanbul's "Besiktas" on Tuesday, the Turkish club has loaned Ailton to "Hamburg SV" until the end of the season, with the option to purchase him later for a sum of 1.75 million euros.

The Turkish capital club officially announced to the Istanbul Stock Exchange that the loan agreement is worth 450 thousand euros.

Ailton, 32, who was previously the top scorer in the German "Bundesliga", has been linked to a return to Germany for some time, as he has often stated that he does not like Turkey.

This season in the Turkish championship, the Brazilian scored four times in 13 matches.

In the 2003-2004 season, Ailton scored 28 goals and helped Bremen's "Werder" win the German championship and the German Cup. After that, he spent a season at Schalke in Gelzenkirchen, and in July he moved to "Besiktas". In total, the Brazilian has played 169 matches in the "Bundesliga" over seven seasons, scoring 89 times.

Along with Ailton, German U-18 national team defender Anis Ben-Hatira also arrives at "HSV", who currently holds the second place in the German championship. The 17-year-old, who arrived from the third division Berlin team "Tennis Borussia", signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Hamburg club.
