Preparing for the upcoming season of the Lithuanian Championship, the team has decided to reject three young players and instead invite more experienced footballers, according to the official website of the "A lyga" league.

The team will no longer include 21-year-old Lithuanian defender Marius Kazlauskas, as well as his compatriot foreign players defender Valeriano Katsitadze and forward Pierre Olivier Bakalago. In their place, defenders Eduardas Tucinskis and Brazilian Everton have been called up.

According to the coach of "Vilnius," Kestutis Latoza, both foreign players did not live up to expectations - Cameroonian P.O. Bakalago did not show much effort and violated discipline, while Georgian V. Katsitadze did not improve enough and was replaced by other players.

Meanwhile, the player who was on loan to the team from Moscow's "Dinamo" and could leave at any time, left the team because it was decided to look for players who would stay with the team for a longer period.

A contract was already signed with 30-year-old former Vilnius "Vetra" player Z. Grudzinskas, while this week former "Siauliai" defender E. Tucinskis officially joined the team after a trial, capable of playing both in defense and in the midfield.

Another Brazilian, versatile 26-year-old Everton, also joined the team, able to play in defense and midfield. A decade ago, the player who represented Brazil's youth national team (up to 20 years old) played for Simferopol's "Tavria" team in Ukraine in 2004, and last season he returned to his homeland and played for the "Taquaritinga" team.
