French legionnaire Marcel Desailly has been disqualified for three matches by UEFA's disciplinary committee today for rough play.
During the first Champions League semi-final match, Desailly hit Fernand Morientes in the face with his elbow, but the referee did not notice it during the game and the player went unpunished.
The main defender of Chelsea will not be able to play in the second semi-final match against Monaco and in the final Champions League match if Chelsea passes the French barrier.
