On Friday, former "Kaunas" and Lithuanian national team defender arrived at the training camp of Vilnius "Vėtra", as reported by the capital club.
The 27-year-old defender, recognized as the best football player in Lithuania in 2004, will train with the team in the near future, and after the evaluation, the team's coaches will decide whether to sign a contract with him.
In 2004, A. Gedgaudas was one of the leaders of "Kaunas", helping the team win the Lithuanian championship and being invited to the Lithuanian national team, but the following season he was plagued by injuries and left the club in the summer of 2005 when his contract expired.
Last season, the Lithuanian moved to Russia - he represented the Tomsk "Tom" club in the "Premier" league along with defender Andrius Skerla, but he hardly played in any matches, and his contract was not extended at the end of the season.
