On Sunday, two matches of the French football championship "Ligue 1" 24th round were supposed to be played, but the match in Lyon between "Lyon" and "Monaco" eleven, as well as three matches scheduled for Saturday due to poor weather conditions were postponed.

The only Sunday match was won by the "Lille" club, who defeated "Metz" eleven 3-1 at home. "Lille" took the lead already in the 4th minute after Kader Keita's goal. In the 53rd minute, "Metz" player Stephane Morisot sent the ball into his own net and doubled the opponent's lead.

The result became overwhelming in the 66th minute, when Efstathios Tavlaridis scored the third goal for "Lille". However, "Metz" managed to score a consolation goal in these matches - in the last minute of the match, Stephane Borbiconi did so.

After this victory, "Lille" with 40 points remained in 4th place in the league table, while "Metz" with only 2 wins in 24 matches continues to be the absolute outsider of the championship.
