The former defender of Madrid and the Spanish national team suffered a broken foot during the FA Cup match against London, during a collision. He will not be able to play sports for at least ten weeks. Immediately after the match, the player's foot was x-rayed, and a fracture was diagnosed - the second one this season. In September, during training, the player broke his foot and could not play for two months.
Initially, it was thought that the Spanish veteran would miss 6 weeks of matches, but later specialists discovered that the injury is more serious, and the defender will not be able to start playing until the second half of April at the earliest. However, according to head coach S. Allardyce, the defender will probably not be able to return to the field this season.
This news is a real blow to the Bolton team's head coach S. Allardyce, as the team will now have to do without their main defender.
