On Wednesday, three new legionnaires participate in the training camp of Vilnius "Vėtra" club, which will play a friendly match against Borisov's "BATE". Two of them are from the Czech Republic and one is from Slovakia. Meanwhile, the Belarusian who participated in the trial has already gone home.
The oldest of them is Czech Peter Strouhalas. The 28-year-old forward played last season in his homeland club "Teplice". P. Strouhalas has played for the Czech youth national team. Another Czech who arrived at "Vėtra" is 19-year-old forward Marek Borovsky, who represented Prague's "Slavia" team.
The Slovak participating in the Vilnius team camp is Peter Drahno. The 23-year-old defender played in the Czech Republic's team "Opava". Whether all these legionnaires will stay in the "Vėtra" club will be decided by the coaches after the trial.
As known, in addition to them, two more legionnaires continue to participate in the "Vėtra" training camp. For two weeks now, Russian goalkeeper Konstantin Talantsev has been training with the Vilnius team, and last week a defender from Latvia, Olegs Boikovs, arrived. Belarusian Yuri Vodovozov from Minsk's "Dinamo" is already going home, as a contract will not be signed with him.
Tomorrow (Wednesday) at 12:30 in Vilnius at the "Sportima" arena, "Vėtra" will play a friendly match against the Belarusian club "BATE". For the main "Vėtra" team, these will be the first friendly matches of the season, where both newcomers and trial participants will play. After the main lineup matches, there will also be a meeting of youth teams.
