Left-back defender from Brazil Maxwell will now play in Italy. After terminating his contract with the Amsterdam club, he signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with the Milan club, but since they have already exceeded the limit of foreign players, the player was loaned to another team until the end of the season.

The 24-year-old Brazilian played for "Ajax" team since 2001 and during that time he played almost 150 matches in which he scored 10 goals, but last year in April the player suffered a serious knee injury, and only recently recovered from it.

Maxwell's contract with "Ajax" was supposed to end this summer and since he decided to move to "Inter" after the season, the Amsterdam club mutually terminated the contract with the player. This allowed him to move to Italy a little earlier, but not to the Milan team because of the foreign player limit, but to the "Empoli" club, from which he will later be able to move to "Inter".

According to the rules in force in the country, the foreign player limit does not matter if the football player arrives at the team from another Italian club. In this way, the "Inter" team has already been supplemented by the Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar, and it is believed that a similar agreement has been reached with the striker Victor Obinna from Verona's "Chievo" team.

Meanwhile, "Ajax", recently signing a pre-contract with "Milan" defender Jaap Stam, continues to strengthen and this time has agreed with Alkmaar's "AZ" club for the transfer of their striker Kenneth Perez. The 31-year-old player will join the Amsterdam team in the summer and sign a three-and-a-half-year contract.
