The head coach of the club Frank Rijkaard mentioned that the Catalan club may try to acquire the forward Michael Owen this summer.
"Barca" had previously stated that they have 50 million pounds to spend on new players. Half of this amount could be allocated to the 24-year-old forward.
"We need a fast and technically skilled forward who knows how to create dangerous opportunities," said Rijkaard.
The player himself recently stated that he would like to stay at Liverpool. However, if "Liverpool" does not play in the Champions League next year and "Barca" offers a good sum, the possibility of Owen's transfer is real.
