Two Real Madrid stars - forward Ronaldo and defender Michel Salgado - have already recovered from injuries and were included in the preliminary lineup for Saturday's Spanish league match against Barcelona's "Espanyol."

Both players did not play due to a thigh muscle injury. The most productive Real Madrid player, Brazilian Ronaldo, has not played since January 8 in the match against "Villarreal," which ended 0-0.

This season has been very unsuccessful for Ronaldo - the forward had to miss all six matches of the UEFA Champions League group stage for Real Madrid due to injuries and disqualification. Nevertheless, Ronaldo has scored nine goals in the Spanish league this season.

Also included in the preliminary lineup for Saturday's match was English national team captain David Beckham, who had a collision with teammate Roberto Carlos during training on Thursday. On Saturday, Real Madrid will be without center-backs Sergio Ramos and Francisco Pavon, who were allowed to rest, while Englishman Jonathan Woodgate retains his place in Real's lineup after returning in last week's match against Celta Vigo.

Currently, Real Madrid is in third place in the Spanish league after 21 rounds, trailing leaders Barcelona by 13 points.
