Vilnius coaches selected three out of all the legionnaires who participated in the trial, who will go to a three-week training camp in Cyprus with the team. They are Russian Konstantin Talancev, Latvian Olegs Boikovs, and Moldovan Iulian Bursucas.
Defender K. Talancev has been participating in the "Vetra" trial since January 16. Defender O. Boikovs arrived at "Vetra" on January 25. The latest addition to the team was defender I. Bursucas. The Moldovan arrived in Vilnius on February 1 and played in both "Vetra's" friendly matches against Borisov BATE and Minsk's "Darida".
The 29-year-old defender has played for the strongest club in Kazakhstan, FK "Aktobe", for the past two years. I. Bursucas is also a member of the national Moldovan team, having played 12 matches for his country. He played in the 2006 World Cup qualifying matches against Italy, Slovenia, Scotland, and Belarus.
