Serse Cosmi fired from "Udinese" club © EuroFootball.com

The club announced that head coach Serse Cosmi has been dismissed from his duties and will now be replaced by retiring player Nestor Sensini, who has previously managed the "Como" club, as well as Loris Dominissini.

Serse Cosmi began leading the team at the beginning of this season when Luciano Spalleti took over the club. However, S. Cosmi failed to meet the expectations of the team's leaders and fans, as the club, which finished in a high fourth place last season, has lost twelve times this season in "Serie A" and only managed to win one of their last eleven matches. Therefore, the dismissal of this strategist was not a big surprise.

Meanwhile, Nestor Sensini is a longtime player of the team, first wearing the club's jersey in 1989. The Argentine defender has also played for "Parma" and "Lazio" teams.

Currently, "Udinese" is in twelfth place in the "Serie A" championship with 26 points and is only four points ahead of the relegation zone occupied by "Empoli."
