There is tension in the waiting in the London camp - there are fears that one of the team leaders, the Spaniard Jose Antonio Reyes, may have broken his leg during Saturday's match with Bolton.
The 22-year-old Spaniard was carried off the field on a stretcher after a collision with Bolton's Abdoulaye Faye.
"We fear that he may have broken his leg, so we took an X-ray after the match," said Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger. "But we don't have the results yet."
Wenger also added that in his personal opinion, Faye tackled the Spaniard very badly and that Faye deserved not a yellow card, with which he was punished, but a "dark orange or red one."
The Frenchman also accused Bolton of time-wasting after they took the lead in the 12th minute of the game following a goal by Kevin Nolan.
In those matches that ended in a 1-1 draw, Arsenal equalized only at the end of the match with a goal by Brazilian Gilberto Silva.
Wenger also stated that Bolton "showed all the bad things that have recently crept into the English championship" and accused the referees of "doing nothing," since only they, according to the Frenchman, can prevent "such things from happening."
