Injuries haunt the Madrid club - bad news. Due to the injuries suffered in Saturday's match against Bilbao Athletic, Uruguayan national team defender Pablo Garcia will not be able to play for at least two months.

The 28-year-old P. Garcia left the field in Saturday's duel in the 26th minute, when he was harshly fouled by Athletic striker Ismael Urzaiz.

After examinations, the hard-working defender, who played a important role in this season's "Real" renaissance, suffered a cruciate ligament injury. Due to this injury, the Uruguayan will be unable to play for at least two months.

The defensive midfielder joins other injured "Real" players: O.Minambres, Guti, I.Helguera, A.Mejia, D.Beckham and Raul. However, it is expected that D.Beckham will already play in the King's Cup semi-final return leg against "Zaragoza" in the middle of the week, and Raul has already started training individually after a serious injury suffered in the "El Clasico" match against "Barcelona" on November 18.

Critics of the marketing strategy of "Real" quickly noticed that the Royal club suffers from too short pre-season physical preparation: when most clubs were preparing for the season with physical training camps, "Real" actively participated in tours in Asia and the USA.
