The Dutch striker Patrick Kluivert will not play for at least eight weeks after undergoing a right knee operation, the Spanish club announced on Tuesday. The 29-year-old Dutch national team forward, who was operated on in his homeland, began to complain of pain in his knee after the 2-2 draw with "Zaragoza" at the end of January. Since his arrival at "Valencia" last June, P. Kluivert has been plagued by injuries. His arrival in Spain was delayed for three weeks until the player recovered from arthroscopic surgery on his left knee and his condition satisfied the medical staff of "Valencia". Later, the Dutchman was plagued by muscle and joint injuries. The striker has only played 190 minutes in the Spanish championship this season, scoring one goal.
