On Tuesday, two postponed matches took place in the French "Ligue 1", where "Nantes" faced "Troyes" and "Saint-Etienne" faced "Nice".

In the match in Nantes, it was a close battle until the very end. In the 74th minute, "Troyes" player Ronan Le Crom was sent off the pitch, and "Nantes" didn't waste time taking advantage - in the 77th minute, the home team player Claudiu Andrei Keseru put his team ahead.

However, just five minutes later, a similar situation unfolded on the other side of the field - Michael Landreau fouled an opponent in his penalty area and was sent off the pitch, and "Troyes" defender Benjamin Nivet successfully converted the penalty awarded by the referee.

In the other Tuesday match, "Nice" unexpectedly defeated "Saint-Etienne", who was higher in the standings and fighting for a spot in European competitions, after a tough battle. The only goal of the match was scored in the 37th minute of the first half by young forward David Bellion, who transferred from "West Ham United".

After this victory, "Nice" surpassed "Saint-Etienne" in the standings and moved from 14th place to 10th with 36 points. "Saint-Etienne" dropped from 11th place to 13th after these matches.
