Spanish national team striker Raul returned to the lineup of Madrid after a three-month rehabilitation and was included in the team's application for Saturday's match against Vitoria's "Alaves".
The return of the team captain after a serious knee injury should be a serious boost for the Royal club ahead of Tuesday's UEFA Champions League round of 16 match against London's "Arsenal".
"He has shown a fantastic desire to return to the field, worked incredibly hard, has a positive attitude, and now there is only one question left - whether he will be able to feel the rhythm," Juan Ramon Lopez Caro said about Raul.
Raul suffered a left knee injury during the "El Clasico" against "Barcelona" on November 18 last year. "Real" doctors decided to prescribe a more conservative rehabilitation program for the player, thus avoiding surgery.
