The second round of the Lithuanian football championship was played. Teams playing at home had better luck, as they all secured victories. The champion "Kaunas" snatched a victory against "Vilnius" in the last moments of the match, "Ekranas" crushed "Sūduva" impressively, "Atlantas" defeated "Vėtra", and "Žalgiris" narrowly beat debutant "Šilutė". - 1 - 0 94' As the match began in Kaunas, rain poured down. Both teams played cautiously in the first ten minutes, as if feeling out the situation. In the 12th minute, the Kaunas team made a mistake and only the crossbar saved them.
