Veteran Stephane Ziani has announced that he wants to leave the club, as he spent most of this season on the bench and appeared on the field very rarely.
The 32-year-old guard tried to fight for a place in the main lineup this season, even despite an injury, but he was unsuccessful and he, disappointed with the team, decided to leave it after this season.
Ziani has already met with Nantes president Jean-Luc Gripo and discussed the possibility of terminating his contract with the team. It is worth mentioning that Ziani played his entire career at Nantes.
Meanwhile, as a possible replacement, Nantes' reserve team captain Denis Stinantas, who has already signed his first three-year professional contract with the club, is being named.
