After the winter break, the second half of the Ukrainian championship season began over the weekend. Impressively debuted in the championship - a Lithuanian player scored a spectacular goal against the country's champion Donetsk "Shakhtar" and along with Audrius Veikutis and Andrius Jokus helped the Simferopol team "Tavria" to earn a point.

The 28-year-old former Vilnius "Vėtra" player, and his two compatriots who played for Marijampolė's "Sūduva" last season and represented Vilnius "Žalgiris", signed a contract with the "Tavria" club in mid-February.
