The defender of the Lithuanian national team will continue his career in Russia - the player signed a three-year contract with a club in the Moscow region on Tuesday and officially became a member of the team. The conditions of the deal with his former Lithuanian team in Kyiv are not disclosed.
As we previously announced, a few weeks ago the 22-year-old defender from Lithuania joined the "Saturn" training camp in the Netherlands and played in three friendly matches against "Metallurg" from Donetsk, "Köln" from Germany, and the local "Nunspeet" club, scoring one of his team's six goals in the match against the latter team.
The Lithuanian's performance impressed the former coach of the team, Vladimir Weiss, who recently took over the reins of the team, and although the player could not participate in the Russian Cup tournament that started over the weekend, after reaching an agreement with Kyiv's "Dinamo" on the transfer conditions and personal contract details, E. Česnauskis decided to link his immediate future with "Saturn", where his fellow countryman and defender Rolandas Džiaukštas also plays.
Starting his career in 2000 with Panevėžio "Ekranas", E. Česnauskis belonged to Kyiv's "Dinamo" club from 2003. In the latter team, he played a total of 19 matches and scored 3 goals, but mostly had to represent the team's reserves. This season, the Lithuanian played three times for the main team of "Dinamo" in the Ukrainian championship.
