The Lithuanian champion Panevėžys almost finished assembling the team. Now, one striker from Moldova is taking part in the Panevėžys trials, and recently the team was joined by nineteen-year-old midfielder Jevgenijus Skorochodas.

"We signed a contract with J.Skorochodas for two years. The footballer has already arrived in Lithuania and is training with the team," said Tomas Sitnikovas, the general director of the "Ekrano" club, to alyga.lt website.

"Last season, the newcomer to "Ekrano" represented the team "Petrotrest" from St. Petersburg. Panevėžys needed a player in the same position where J.Skorochodas plays, so the coach selected him from the trial participants. The boy is young and promising," said Martynas Jakimauskas, the executive director of "Ekrano" club, officially to the "A lyga" website.

If the Lithuanian champions sign a contract with the striker from Moldova, the team will be fully assembled for the new season. During the offseason, the club said goodbye to striker Valerijus Mižigurskis, goalkeeper Tomas Kavolis, defenders Lauras Januševičius and Laurynas Rimavičius. The team was joined by striker Egidijus Varnas, who previously played for "Šiauliai," and the Latvian legionnaire Ruslan Michalčiukas, who finished last season with "Ventspils" club.
