Lithuania's national team goalkeeper will continue his career in the FBK team - as reported by the club's website, after intense negotiations, one of the most promising goalkeepers in the country, together with another former "Žalgiris" player Nerijus Valskis, officially signed contracts with the vice-champions of the A league.
22-year-old M. Malinauskas, who signed a three-year contract, joined the "Kaunas" team along with two existing goalkeepers - Eduard Kurskis and the young Slovenian Mihael Hertelendi. The team had to bid farewell to Šarūnas Kilijonas, who was loaned to "Šilutė" by the decision of the coaches, and will play there at least until the end of July.
Meanwhile, N. Valskis, who will celebrate his 19th birthday in August and represented the reserve "Žalgiris" team "Polonija" last season, joined the Kaunas team at least until the end of this year.
