On Saturday, two first round matches and one second round match were already played in the LFF Cup tournament. Klaipėda's "Atlantas" and Panevėžys "Ekranas" achieved crushing victories against their opponents, while "Vilnius" defeated the second team of "Vėtra" after a fierce battle, and "Žalgiris" overcame "Kauno Jėgeriai". After a draw in the first match between "Vilnius" and "Vėtra-2", there was still intrigue, but in the second leg, the favorites "Vilnius" demonstrated their superior skills and won 2-0. The goals for the winners were scored by Ramūnas Radavičius and Brazilian Everton. Tired from their victory in the first match against the reserve team, another capital city club, Vilnius "Žalgiris", also had to face "Kauno Jėgeriai" and also won only with two goals in the end - Tadas Gražiūnas and Valerijus Mižigurskis scored.
