"Hajduk Split" team, competing in the Croatian championship, Sports Director Igor Stimac is disqualified for six months by the decision of the Croatian Football Association (HNS) for attacking referees during the match with the "Rijeka" team on April 10, which ended in a 1-0 win. Referee Miroslav Jedvaj filed an official complaint to the association, stating that he was dissatisfied with Stimac's disrespectful behavior towards the referees, cursing, and threatening the police. Jedvaj also claimed that Stimac pushed him, but later retracted this accusation. However, despite this, the disciplinary committee decided by secret vote that Stimac should be disqualified for half a year. Stimac is a former famous player of the Croatian national team. He represented his national team 54 times. After retiring from professional football, Stimac decided to invest in the Split football club "Hajduk" and later became its sports director.
