Forty-year-old Brazilian Romario does not stop - the legendary footballer has agreed to continue his career with the "Miami" team in the second strongest US soccer championship "United Soccer League".

The striker currently has a contract with his homeland team "Vasco da Gama," but he has not appeared there since March 15th, when the club lost 2-0 to the underdog "Cabofriense" and lost all hopes of fighting for the Rio de Janeiro championship title.

The best footballer of 1994, who started his career in Brazil back in 1985, will represent the US team until the end of the next year's September and, according to Vasco da Gama's president Eurico Miranda, should return to his homeland later.

Having denied skeptics' predictions about the unnecessary continuation of his career, the most productive player of the 2005 Brazilian championship only needs to score another 36 goals to surpass opponents' goalkeepers to reach a total of 1000 goals in his entire career.
