Meanwhile, the pursuers of the closest team in the English capital did not scatter points - "Man Utd" defeated "Bolton" 2-1 in a tough match, and the team in third place for some time now, "Liverpool", with ease won 2-0 against the "West Bromwich" club.
After these matches, "Man Utd", with six games left to play, reduced the gap from the leaders to 7 points. It is interesting that these teams still have an important match against each other. Meanwhile, "Liverpool" is behind the Manchester team by 5 points and has played one more match, so there are not many chances left for Rafael Benitez's team to climb higher.
The team in excellent sporting form, "Arsenal", won a significant victory, defeating "Aston Villa" 5-0 at their home ground "Highbury" without major problems.
