The Klaipėda "Atlantas" club has been supplemented by a large group of newcomers. The club's official website announces that contracts have been signed with six new players, four of whom are well-known Lithuanian football enthusiasts, and two are foreign players.
Defenders , , midfielder , and striker have signed one-year contracts.
Last season, E. Lukoševičius played for Saratov's "Sokol" (Russia), D. Žutautas for Vladikavkaz's "Alania" (Russia), A. Gedgaudas for Tomsk's "Tom" (Russia). M. Karalius represented Vilnius's "Žalgiris", participated in the Minsk "Dinamo" and Zhodino "Torpedo" trials during the offseason.
From the foreign players, the team from the port city was joined by 22-year-old Ukrainian midfielder Taras Daniliuk and Belarusian Evgeny Veriovka. They have signed two-year contracts. Both players recently participated in the Vilnius "Vilniaus" trial.
The "Atlantas" website also announces that the club is awaiting two more Russian legionnaires - Sergey Kushov and Evgeny Polyakov.
