Ottmar Hitzfeld will most likely remain as a coach next year. This was stated by one of the leaders of German football giants Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. The coach's contract is valid until the end of the season.
"We are planning the next season with him," Rummenigge said. "Last week we met with the coach and discussed plans for the next season."
Last month, the same Rummenigge said that the coach could leave the club. Meanwhile, the club president Franz Beckenbauer has said that if he wanted to, he could coach the club until 2020.
Some time ago, rumors spread that the coach was offered a job at an English club. However, the English club officially denied this.
