In the only Scottish "Premier" league match on Saturday, "Kilmarnock," fighting for fourth place in the standings, faced off against the already victorious Glasgow "Celtic" club. Despite a lack of motivation, the new national champions celebrated an impressive victory.

1 - 4 8` [0 - 1] Shunsuke Nakamura 64` [0 - 2] John Hartson 82` [0 - 3] Shunsuke Nakamura 84` [0 - 4] Dion Dublin 89` [1 - 4] Colin Nish

The visitors from Glasgow started the match impressively as Japanese player Shunsuke Nakamura scored a fantastic penalty kick from 20 meters in the 8th minute to put his team ahead. Later, the "Celtic" team enjoyed the game and tried to show off as many tricks as possible, but just before the break they were almost punished - a quick penalty kick taken by Steven Naismith resulted in an equalizer, but the goal was disallowed due to a very questionable offside call.

Angry about the injustice, "Kilmarnock" started the second half aggressively, but S. Naismith missed another opportunity, and in the 64th minute, John Hartson doubled the visitors' lead after a failed clearance by goalkeeper Alan Combe, who knocked the ball passed by Shaun Maloney into his own net.

"Kilmarnock" continued to waste their chances, and with eight minutes left until the end of the match, "Celtic" secured the victory - Shunsuke Nakamura and Dion Dublin scored within two minutes each, while the hosts managed to score a consolation goal through Colin Nish in the penultimate minute.

Experiencing a setback, "Kilmarnock" missed the opportunity to rise to fourth place and now are trailing "Hibernian" by one point and leading "Aberdeen" by three points. The last five rounds of the Scottish championship will be played separately between the first and second tiers of teams.
