The Seville forward on Monday stated that he wants to be loaned out to a Brazilian top club after doctors allowed him to resume training following a serious knee injury.
"I am interested in two clubs - 'Santos' and 'Sao Paulo', but I think I will go to 'Sao Paulo'," the Brazilian was quoted by the Spanish sports newspaper "Marca" on Monday.
The 25-year-old forward has not played since injuring his right knee in early November during a UEFA Champions League match against "Chelsea" after a rough tackle by Ricardo Carvalho. After that, the Brazilian had to undergo surgery and the rehabilitation lasted until now.
"Betis" already removed the Brazilian from the official list for this season, but R. Oliveira hopes to temporarily move to a Brazilian club in order to try to earn a spot in the Brazilian national team for the upcoming World Cup.
"I will sign a contract with a Brazilian team by August, but I don't know what I will do after that," added the Brazilian. "It is important for me to return to the field as soon as possible."
"Betis" coach Llorencas Serra Ferreras stated that he would like to see R. Oliveira in the team's lineup next season.
In the previous season, R. Oliveira was the top scorer for "Betis", scoring 22 goals, and was also a member of the Brazilian national team, which won the "Copa Libertadores" in 2004 and the Confederations Cup in 2005.
